ACC Chennai represents BITS Pilani’s vision to create an integrated ecosystem bridging academia and industry through experiential learning, applied research, and innovation.

This state-of-the-art facility brings together two cutting-edge hubs:

Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) Hub – A pentagonal collaborative environment spanning the complete SDV development lifecycle, from individual ECU development to networked systems, subsystem integration, digital cockpit implementation, and fully functional vehicle validation.

e-Mobility Hub – A comprehensive platform encompassing electric & hybrid vehicle systems, power electronics, automotive control systems, communication & networking, diagnostics, and functional safety—supported by industry-grade tools including Vector CANoe, Speedgoat HIL, and advanced BMS solutions.

The centre enables campus immersions, Practice School opportunities, faculty development programs, M.Tech research support, industry problem-solving collaborations, and certification programs aligned with emerging automotive technologies.
